We are all links in a Great Chain of Being, linked to an infinite potential and localized into the finite present that is our life.

Last week I wrote a piece entitled, “The Coming ‘Holy War’ and How to Navigate It” HERE, and I feel to deepen into its themes as part of the call to get your house in order, both for yourself and for the world you want to live in.

We don’t know how any ‘Holy War’ will progress, and that will potentially draw Lebanon, Iran and Jordan, for example, into the Palestine-Israel conflict. We don’t how things will go should the theatre of war grow to include the US, India, NATO, the EU and their allies forming one axis, and China, Russia, Iran and North Korea forming the other. We don’t know the consequences to ourselves individually in terms of national currencies, costs of living, supply chains of food, goods and oil, and, of course, our own wellbeing.

What we do know is that these circumstances have been building for decades. In amongst mass propaganda and increasing censorship, cancellation and de-platforming, there are blueprints, papers, leaked documents, interviews etc all in the public domain regarding the intentions of many of the geopolitical players.

More recently and ongoing, we are witnessing mutual slaughter in Palestine and Israel, and most disturbingly, the slaughter of children in ghastly numbers.

As such, with the slaughter of innocents, no matter their ethnicity, we have arrived at a rockbottom place in the collective evolutionary journey where we are experiencing the profoundly disturbing reflection of disconnection and distortion that has arisen from within the tormented, traumatized, hardened human heart, and with unfathomable consequences for us all if we cannot create another way forward.

I have spent the last month deep in media articles and videos from the left and right in Israeli-Palestinian politics, combing the Middle East’s ‘Al Jazeera’, mainstream media, alternative media sources, academics, writers, poets, rabbis, banned journalists and more to re-visit and upgrade the context. Doing so has revealed a plethora of histories, timelines, perspectives, reasons, justifications, narratives, agendas and more as to how we got here … and I understand them all. I can feel how this or that person or party has arrived at their respective conclusions and subsequent choices, however abhorrent some of the perspectives and actions may be to me personally, and how they believe they are doing good from their perspective.

The most divisive and destructive, of course, are based upon hardline us-vs-them ideology and enemy-consciousness, and as such, none of them will lead to ways forward that will not be a repeat of what has already been: fear, violence, hatred and immense suffering.

Why am I sharing this with you?

I am talking about this because you are important to me, whether we’ve worked together personally or not, and I don’t want you to suffer, first and foremost, depending upon how this will all go. It is my heartfelt wish that you get your house in order, as I wrote last week.

Secondly, I am talking about this because we need to ask ourselves what kind of world we want to be living in going forward, and what kind of world we want our children to be living in.

In this regard, I believe we are called to acknowledge the scale of accumulated, generational pathology that can result in such unthinkable atrocities …. and to decisively choose another path forward.

Ultimately, there is no side that is ‘more right’ or ‘more wrong’ than the other in this madness: both have arisen from an aberration of consciousness anchored in faulty beliefs, enshrined within religions and culture and military, and based upon separation. Separation between matter and spirit, mind and body, good and evil, masculine and feminine, the Source and the Earth, you and me, us and them. Division, destruction and desecration of all that is sacred are the end result we are seeing reflected the world over, in politics, in the environment, racially and ethnically, within nations and families, and more.

The appetite for peace has grown in these years, however. It is born out of 'enough is enough' pain and the earnest work of many globally, particularly in the last 30 years, to illuminate darkness and transform it, and herald the New. It has led to the growing desire and vocalization for the old conditions, miscreations, ancient wounds and belief systems that created them to give way to something new, and with it, a New Human, a New Earth, a New Reality.

This horrific moment, these atrocities .... give us pause to consider who and what we will become as a result of the violence. Who we become and what we embody, and how we respond now, will determine our experiences, creations and future going forward.

They determine the quality of what we mentally and emotionally will add to the collective sea: will we add still more ‘might is right’, hatred, anger, shame, dehumanization and loathing of the 'other', persecution, division, humiliation, ignorance, denial, revenge, punishment, rage, grief, despair, retribution, torment? More us-vs-them?

And yet, how do we find the way to apply ‘more noble principles’ in a world (or even within a family or ourselves) that may neither fully understand nor want them nor believe they are possible to experience? Whilst I believe the unfolding, escalating horror will continue to produce the necessary tipping-points and critical openness to depart from the past and its ruthless push into still greater tragedy and catastrophe, there is more that we can personally do to fast-forward into the realities we would prefer to experience.

We personally must alter.

Gandhi said,

"We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body.

If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change."

Along with countless others in the spiritual movement, I believe we can precipitate the New into the present by holding and becoming a new Vision of a Beautiful, Enlightened World, by facing and releasing from ourselves our own darkness and pain, and embodying an entirely new, illuminated expression of ourselves. I believe we can be the examples that shepherd the collective into the same. Renewed, empowered and connected with ourselves, one another, the Earth, the Solar System and Galaxy, the Field and all Life. We can evolve and mature, and take our place as responsible, joyful Conscious Co-Creators at last, one with all of Life and in celebration of It.

Absolutely, there is not one deterministic answer or solution to 'Holy War' and to the many crises humanity is facing: there are many interconnected players, levels and aspects of response as to how to move forward. All are necessary, as I've written elsewhere in the past.

However, the one I can most capably speak to is that which combines leading-edge science and mysticism, and that pertains to our ability to change ourselves, the Field and thus reality, and that coalesces into a necessary critical mass for alchemy and transformation – and that thus no longer contributes any further to the global burden of pain, helplessness and trauma, along with the continual, reflex-manifestation of hatred, despair, fear, terror and retribution.

I grew up a Catholic and one of the hymns we used to sing at school as well as at church was St Francis of Assisi’s, "Make me an Instrument of your Peace":

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

In other words, we must become the outcomes we wish to live, not only to transform our own lives, but the world in which we live and the world in which our children will live.

However you must transform yourself to meet this moment and all to come from an empowered foundation, do it. You were born for this moment.
